Everyone is unique. And therefore, everyone has a unique fit with clothing. Whether you are female, male, larger, smaller, or any unique situation, we have all felt that frustration of trying to find the right piece of clothing, online or on the rack. Sleeves too short, pants too long, tight in the chest, loose in the hips, etc. The standard sizing model only fits a limited portion of the population. We can access all human knowledge from the smartphone in our pocket, but the pants we put it in don't fit? I think there is a serious gap in technological advancement here. Not to mention, half of all clothing currently produced ends up in landfills, and it is produced using highly de-valued labor from skilled individuals. The mass-produced, ready-to-wear fashion industry is highly unethical. Well, my goal is to fix all of that. By providing clothing that not only fits well, is high in quality, and was made with fair labor practices, my mass-customized apparel can last longer and provide much more value to both the consumer and the economy in the long run. How many times have we assigned our self-worth to a number on the size tag? How many times have we bought cheap, ill-fitting pieces just to wear them for one season and throw them away? Well I say, our clothing should fit US, not the other way around. And it should last more than a few wears. With the right eye for detail, and the right skills to fit apparel, we can say GOODBYE to mass-production, and say HELLO to mass-customization.
